Dear Ms Mesley,

Twice I was fascinated by your documentary questioning why more people are getting cancer.

Some others and I noticed a local flare of cancer that we believe started in the late 70's. When other people, pets and I became ill with the symptoms of Lyme disease in the mid 80's, I began questioning, "WHY"?

From the time frame of this self-perceived outbreak of Lyme disease I wonder if there is a connection between Lyme and cancer. A US Lyme treating doctor has on his website that Lyme borreliosis can cause any symptom and any disease.

My research leads me to believe that industrial pollution was the cause of this serious disease, but I cannot get anyone to start research into this bacterial infection that has the affinity to cause pre-existing conditions or damage to flare.

If you would be willing to look into this, I will be happy to help you get started.

Sincerely,

Ron Gerhardi
