My designs are not public domain, copyright free or royalty free clipart. 

The purchase or download of one of my collections or kits grants you only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the designs as is and in their original digital format for personal use only. This license is for one individual's use,  one household and one computer system only.

If you wish to purchase a group (craft, scrapbooking group etc) license, please email me for information.

What you can do with the kits you purchase: 
You may print out and photocopy the designs to use in your personal paper crafts which includes, card making, scrapbooking, personal paper stationary, non business desk top publishing, or other similar paper craft projects. You may also make a single digital backup copy of the kit you purchase to prevent loss should your computer or hard drive crash. Any art/craft paper projects you create with my designs are your own original works of art and may by given to others in swaps, raks, personal mail, gifts, or uploaded for display purposes on your own websites and galleries. 

What you can't do with my designs:
My designs must be printed and used in their original digital form (the original file formats you received when you purchased a kit or downloaded a sample/kit) and may not be altered electronically or digitally, used to create other derivative works, reworked, recolored, resized, outlined, traced, spindled, mutilated or claimed as your own designs.

All items made with my designs must be handcrafted paper projects only. To clarify, my designs may not be used to create web images, email stationary, cutter templates, logos, email signatures or other digital file formats. My designs may also not be use to produce stencils, other templates, books, craft sheets or items that are mass-produced, including but not limited to the creation of rubberstamps, diecuts, scrapbook type kits, limited series prints etc, or other similar items. 

The license you purchase does not include the right to redistribute, sub-license, rent, lease, resell, lend, barter or give away any of my kits or designs and this includes printed or photocopied sheets of my original designs.

Given the nature of digital media and the ease in which they can be duplicated, no part of any of my collections or kits may be resold or given away by you in any way shape or form. This includes but is not limited to the resale and giving away of my kits or designs on Ebay, uploaded to web groups, email lists, forums, newsgroups, other websites, via snail mail or email, etc.

No individual design or portions of my collections may be duplicated, reworked or altered with the intent to redistribute their contents by electronic, digital media or any other means whatsoever and this includes but is not limited to whether it is for the purpose of sale, barter, lending or offered for free. In other words there is no difference between selling my work or giving it away. This clause has been included in my terms to clarify the restrictions I have placed on my original art work and to help prevent the theft and pirating of my designs by illegal clipart sites, and those that would alter my original work, claim it as their own, and distribute it to others under the guise that they are providing a free service and free designs to the general public.

The license agreement:

With the downloading or purchase of any of my collections or kits, you agree that you have read, understood and will comply with all the terms I have place on my original designs. You also acknowledge that you enter a binding contract with graphic artist Chris Stern. You understand and agree that you do not own my original designs but are only purchasing a limited nontransferable license to use them in your paper craft projects and in the manner laid out in the terms above. 

If you wish to use my designs in any commercial venture, (anything that you charge a fee, membership or barter for), please contact me for information on purchasing a commercial registration. A registration fee will apply to each individual kit or template, you wish to use commercially but it will be both nominal and affordable.. 

All copyrights to my designs whether purchased in collections, kits or are downloaded from my freebie section are subject to the same terms of use and all copyrights are retained by pixel artist Chris Stern. If you are unsure of any portion of my terms, please email me for clarification.
