As a resident on the American continent with BK reg'd and CKC reg'd German Boxers,
Camano announces the principles of its future breeding program. Camano will only interact
with boxer breeding lines from reputable sources who meet the International standards set
forth by reputable boxer clubs around the world.
Camano applies restrictions to all American boxer breeders and their imported or
homebred German/Continental Boxers. Ancestry in the pedigrees will be screened.
1.) All 62 boxers in the 5 generation pedigree will be screened, including siblings to dam
and sire, siblings to the grand-parents and upon availabilty siblings to the great-grandparents.
2.) Complete progeny records from earlier breedings must be submitted to Camano. Progeny records of siblings
if available must also be submitted.
3.) Pedigrees containing one or more boxers of unknown origin in any of the 5 generations will not be accepted.
Camano will refuse any interaction with such a boxer based on incomplete or non-existing data in the ancestry. If data
cannot readily be accessed through the foreign registration number, Camano will refuse to interact with such a boxer.
4) Camano will not interact with boxers who were imported through brokers and will not interact with the progeny of
such imports.
5.) Camano will not interact with boxers who were imported with foreign FCI pedigrees from Serbia, Yugoslavia, Croatia
or Hungary regardless of their present AKC registration (excempt are BK members residing in those countries). If the present situation with the registries coming from these countries
can be resolved in the future, we will re-assess our position.
6.) Camano will not interact with any boxers residing on the American continent from imports prior to 2001, and will not interact with the
progeny of those boxers.
7.) Camano will not interact with boxers who show in their 5 generation pedigree any of the dogs mentioned under point 5 and 6.
Camano encourages all potential boxer owners who plan to import in the future to learn about the present breeding laws on the International
level, to study the International breeding lines, to learn about the development of the boxer and how the breeding lines arrived
at the present standard of the boxer. Camano encourages persons who wish to import a boxer puppy to learn about their chosen
breeder's breed line prior to approaching a breeder, and to familiarize themselves with the Zuchtwert as it is in effect today.
